Science Club 2010

Unfortunately, classes without enough volunteers will have to be canceled.

A modified version of Science Club is being planned for March of this year. It will involve 4 weekly after school meetings, 3:30pm - 4:30pm, offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays (based on interest and parent volunteer availability). This program is free and offers hands-on, age appropriate activities that explore with the participants science in our daily lives. All lesson plans and materials are provided by the HSA. Parental involvement is what makes this program possible.   Great Book Clubs where each grade can gather with their peers and share a great story together. 

For Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4 This Year !!

When: All Third Grade students are invited to join us after school on March 31st, 3:30p-4:30p.  

We chose a book...  We will discuss the classic book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.  

The Manlius library has 50 copies of this book on reserve for our club!  Our Enders Road library has 10 copies on reserve.  Come discuss your favorite parts of the book and enjoy chocolate snacks and fun activities.  You might even find a "Golden Ticket".   You can register via email with either of the following Committee Leaders:  Linda Rossi and Laurine Neuman.  Or the paper registration form may be found here.

 

Grade 2  for 2009-10

Our second meeting will be March 3rd from 3:30p-4:30p in the Enders Road Library.

Our first meeting will be January 28th from 3:30-4:30 in the Enders Road library. The book we will be reading is "Mr. Klutz is Nuts".  The Manlius library is holding 11 copies of the book specifically for the club.   Committee Leaders:  Rebecca Shiroff and another leader is welcome.
