We have a very exciting event coming to our school on January 8th, 2010, from 5:30p - 8:30p. The East Area YMCA is providing a Get Moving Night, made possible by a grant from PepsiCo. This event is free and will include stations with information from the police department, fire department, poison control, etc; there will be fun games and creative exercises for parents to do with their kids, including Zumba; and some fun family food games as well as the chance to make a fun no-bake recipe with your child. I hear there might even be a fear factor challenge - Are you ready to try a new food? More information coming soon!

This event was rescheduled to January due to the Onondaga County H1N1 Flu vaccinations being held on December 4.
