Our children at Enders Road are fortunate to have two gymnastics programs available to them.

The first is provided by our Enders Road Physical Education staff and is augmented with parent volunteers.  Our FM district rotates a set of gymnastics equipment between all the schools.  Enders Road has the equipment for about 10 days.  During this time the children enjoy the variety of equipment available.  For safety reasons there are 1 or 2 adults "spotting" each gymnastics station.  There are more stations than we have Staff to spot.  That is where the parents come in!  More parent volunteers means the children can be using more stations at the same time rather than waiting in line for their turn.

Physical Education Gymnastics Program is scheduled from February 22 – March 5, 2010. Parent Sign up will be on-line this year.

There is also an optional gymnastics program offered during the school year.  The Town of Manlius Recreation Department has arraigned for Gymnastics (Tumbling, Horizontal Bar, Vaulting) for Boys & Girls 1st-5th grade.  Classes are held at Enders Road Elementary School on most Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 PM.  Classes start on September 16th.  Fees are an annual $35 registration fee and $16 per class, payable monthly in advance.  You may register at the Town of Manlius Recreation office: 301 Brooklea Drive; Fayetteville, NY 13066; phone: 315-637-5188; www.TownofManlius.org  These classes are conducted by a local gymnastics organization, Parry's Gymnastics.
